1. Who We Are and What We Do

Fuchures helps mature learners (typically aged 25 and over) with qualifications or relevant work experience access funded higher education in the UK. Our services include, but are not limited to:

• Free eligibility and funding calculators, including personalised Funding Reports and Eligibility Reports
• Guidance on UK Student Finance England (SFE) loans, grants, and allowances
• Support preparing and submitting course and student finance applications
• Referrals and introductions to our partner universities
• General information and educational content about student finance and UK higher education

Fuchures is not the Student Loans Company, Student Finance England, or any UK government body. We do not lend money, and we do not make funding decisions. All Tuition Fee Loans, Maintenance Loans, grants, and allowances referenced on the Site are administered exclusively by Student Finance England (or the relevant devolved nation's equivalent), and your actual entitlement is determined solely by them, based on your official application.

2. Eligibility to Use the Site

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site or submit your details to us. The Site and our services are intended primarily for individuals seeking higher education opportunities in the UK. Some services may only be relevant to UK residents or those with the right to study in the UK.

3. Our Free Tools and Reports Are Estimates Only

Any calculator, quiz result, Funding Report, Eligibility Report, or similar output generated through the Site is an estimate for general guidance purposes only. It is based solely on the information you provide and current publicly available Student Finance England rates and rules at the time of generation.

These estimates:

• Do not constitute financial, legal, or immigration advice
• Are not a guarantee of any loan, grant, allowance, course offer, or university placement
• May differ from your actual entitlement, which is determined solely by Student Finance England or the relevant awarding body following a full, official application
• May become outdated as government funding rates, thresholds, and rules change each academic year

You should always confirm your exact entitlement directly with Student Finance England, or with one of our advisers, before making any decisions based on figures shown on the Site.

4. Accuracy of Information and Sources

The Site references figures and information from third-party sources, including:

• Student finance figures (Tuition Fee Loan, Maintenance Loan, grant and allowance amounts, repayment thresholds, and interest rates): sourced from Student Finance England, the Student Loans Company, and gov.uk, correct for the 2026/27 academic year at the time of publishing. These figures are reviewed and can change annually or in-year; the Site is updated periodically but may not reflect changes immediately. The current, binding figures are always those published directly by Student Finance England / gov.uk.
• Salary and job role information (for example, typical salaries by industry or role referenced on our homepage): sourced from [SOURCE TO BE CONFIRMED, e.g. Office for National Statistics (ONS) Annual Survey of Hours and Earnings]. These figures are illustrative, represent averages or ranges across the UK labour market, and are not a guarantee of earnings for any individual, course, or career path.

5. Providing Your Information

When you use our calculators, quizzes, or contact forms, you'll be asked to provide personal information such as your name, email address, and phone/WhatsApp number, and in some cases details about your circumstances (for example, household income, dependants, or course choice) so that we can generate a personalised report and, where relevant, follow up with guidance.

By submitting this information, you consent to Fuchures contacting you by phone, text/WhatsApp, or email regarding your enquiry, in line with our Privacy Policy. You can withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us at hello@fuchures.com.

We handle all personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

6. University Placement and Partner Services

Fuchures works with a number of partner universities and may recommend, introduce, or refer you to a course or institution based on the information you provide. Where we do this:

• We aim to recommend options genuinely suited to your circumstances and goals
• Fuchures may receive a referral or commission payment from a partner university if you enrol as a result of our introduction. This does not increase any cost to you and does not affect the funding or academic offer you receive
• Any offer of a place is made by the university itself, at its own discretion, and is subject to that university's own admissions criteria and terms
• We are not responsible for decisions made by universities or by Student Finance England

7. Acceptable Use

When using the Site, you agree not to:

• Provide false, misleading, or another person's information without their consent
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or our systems
• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the Site
• Scrape, copy, or reproduce content from the Site without our written permission

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, report templates, and design, is owned by or licensed to Fuchures and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view and download content for your own personal, non-commercial use, but you may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from it without our prior written consent.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including gov.uk, Student Finance England, partner university websites, and WhatsApp. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of these third-party sites. Your use of any third-party site is subject to that site's own terms and policies.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fuchures shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site, reliance on any estimate, calculator result, or report generated through the Site, or any decision made by a third party (including Student Finance England or a partner university).

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or our services at any time if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our services or for legal or regulatory reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when these Terms were last revised. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
